Title: Mechanical Engineer (Medical Department)

Summary of essential job functions.
-Create product specification, design guidelines, etc.
-Perform/Participate design review, design analysis, design FMEA etc. to assess design risks and develop contingency plans
-Design mechanical hardware
-Coordinate industrial design, human factors

Education:
Minimum 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Software

Experience:
5+ years experience designing products in consumer or medical device industry.  RF experience a plus.

Knowledge:
-Proficiency in CAD/CAM tools including Pro Engineer, Solid Works, AutoCAD
-Familiarity with SLA process
-Experience with high volume tooling
-Experience with cosmetically sensitive injection molded plastics
-Experience creating tooling package
-Experience in packaging design
-Experience designing sheet metal
-Experience with thermal analysis tools like Icepack
-Experience with vendor management
