Vibration, Shock, and Acceleration Testing

Our A2LA accredited testing laboratory (Testing Cert. #3521.01) offers the capability to test your product’s ability to withstand vibration, shock or prolonged acceleration with one of our Electrodynamic Shakers or our Centrifuge.

Our shakers have the potential to apply up to 13,500 pounds force between 5Hz and 3000Hz and 0 to 3” peak to peak displacement. Profiles include testing with sinusoidal, random, classical shock waveforms. Our larger shaker has a 36”x36” table and both shaker can be used in horizontal or vertical directions.

For tests requiring extended acceleration (e.g. Crash Safety), we have a centrifuge designed and build by our own Cascade Engineers. It has a 24”x24” mounting surface and can apply up to 20G’s.

Our A2LA certification covers the following standards with respect to Vibration, Shock, and Acceleration:

  • IEC 60068-2-6; IEC 60068-2-7; IEC 60068-2-27; IEC 60068-2-47; IEC 60068-2-59; IEC 60068-2-64;
  • MIL-STD 810E/F/G Sec. 513, Sec. 514.5, 516, 519.5;
  • MIL-STD 883G/H Sec. 2002, 2005, 2007;
  • MIL-STD 202G Sec. 201, 204, 213, 212A, 214;
